Pastor Dane Butler and May Butler

Pastor Dane was born on October 31, 1983 in Birmingham, Alabama to Daniel L. Butler and Pamela G. Butler. Dane lived for two years in Birmingham and then he and his family moved to St. Louis, Missouri when he was 2 years old. In 1992, Dane’s family made the move to Los Angeles, California where Daniel assumed the role of Pastor at the Pentecostal Church in Bellflower, California.

Pastor Dane grew up amongst the cultural diversities associated with a metropolitan city like Los Angeles. In 2005, Dane graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Geography with an emphasis in Earth System Science. After graduating, Dane worked for the City of Fullerton, California as one of the city cartographers. While working for the city of Fullerton, Dane heard the call of God and he became Youth Pastor at International Pentecostal Church in Bellflower, California in May of 2005.

While serving as Youth Pastor, in 2010, Dane met May Nalasa and they were married on February 19, 2011. Together they served International Pentecostal Church as Youth Pastors until 2018 when they became the Executive Pastors of IPC. In January 2021, Dane and May assumed the Pastoral role at International Pentecostal church.

Pastor Dane continues his education, pursuing a Master of Divinity from Urshan Graduate School of Theology in St. Louis Missouri. He continues to serve alongside his wife of 10 years as Pastors of International Pentecostal Church and raise three amazing boys, Logan, Levi, and Luke.
